Hey has anyone bought the $35 to $40 combos? Any luck with them or not. I just ordered one. With out the programming card. Looking at getting it later if it works good

I have a cheap brushless system in the wife's 2wd Stampede and she runs like a raped ape.
I also have one in my Axial Bomber. It's a bit jumpy so I'm changing it.
Regardless @gragner66 , I'm impressed with you imagination. :thumbs-up::thumbs-up::thumbs-up:

Buy what you want. Lots of ultra-low budget stuff to dig into. Some ESCs will be a pain to program (if at all). Some ESCs will let you recalibrate throttle settings, and some will not. Find the ESC's manual and read it. If you can't find a manual... I'd pass on it. Generally, the brushless motors are fine for what you pay. Open up the motors to find out what size bearings are used and write that info down so you have it when the time comes.

I've purchased a few esc /motor combos a few years ago nothing in last 2 ..I've ever used air esc on ground rigs sure I had to adjust the deadband for esc to find neutral in my radio but I got it to work.just use the paypal option(you get a year of warranty on them when you use them)..good luck

I’ve put Castle in all my other electrics. Thought I’d go a little route with one that mostly a shelf queen when done

Thnx for the info guys
