General RC Information
Warby's Traxxas Nitro Sport SE Pro.15 Restoration
I've owned this one for over 18 years. Bought it in ~2006. It was my very first hobby grade RC.
It's had a hard life in the hands of a noob. It was ran hard, out of tune and put away dirty up until 2014 when it stopped running. I thought I had cooked it, although I never did investigate. It's been stored ever since.
Forward to 2025 and I decided to fully restore it including a new engine.
Traxxas optional upgraded parts fitted where possible. Including but not limited to, later model wheels, anodised aluminum tuned Pipe & header, bearing carriers, frt bulk head, carbon fiber shock towers, hexs and wheel nuts.
Check the build thread below for before and after photos.
