Tamiya number 406 Unimog:
I’ve bidded on this and won the bid on Ebay! It came with a totally dark grey body, which I had painted the Unimog orange.
It came with an upgraded motor, which is 35 turns. I presently run it onto 2S and sometimes 3S Lipo batteries. I treat this one gingerly as when I looked at the manual that came with it most all the gears are plastic I don’t ever exert force on it.

- Challenges Faced
- Rear wheel drive shaft snapped due to running hard. I had fabricated a new drive shaft from a FMS 1/10 scale FJ40 which after measuring and cutting the drive shaft to fit, it was installed an runs better than a factory stock unit.
