Losi LXT

31 years old still running good!

General RC Information

Got this in 1993 or 94 as a christmas present from my family. Only upgraded to run modern electrics and nicer Losi threaded shocks I got in approx 2001 and the more durable RPM bulkhead. A 2S Lipo hardcase shorty pack fits nicely in the battery compartment with a foam backer to keep it exactly snug, and a Factory Works battery strap to keep it fully locked in. I also added at some point a front bulkhead brace from Factory Works with a longer inner hingepin so make up the added length needed. I don't run it too hard though as the parts are like a vintage Ferrari at this point, and the they don't make street tires for 2.2" stadium trucks anymore, so I take care of my two sets of Proline Road Rage. Otherwise, I run J Concepts clay tires when I want to be a little more aggressive.

Challenges Faced
just finding parts for this over the years is tough, so this is probably best for really experienced drivers that won't crash it. Everything else is pretty straight forward and well made.
