Yesterday it was the Kraton Killer, it successfully killed itself within minutes. So for today I brought an actual Kraton with me.
With much wooing the dog informed me that even though it was pouring rain outside we're still going for our walk, so we did. Already soaked I decided to take the...
Sledge Sunday.
The bits of broken metal in the front is a front axle to a Sledge, that was yesterday. Today the cross pin fell out of my hub and I had to fish my wheel out of a pond. Wet feet or not the dog got her walk.
My shoes are on the heater grate, got dry socks on, and just got done...
Sledge Sunday
The Sledge is down for parts so I drove the Outcast instead. I wasn't in the mood but the dog was so we went. First we picked up some donuts then we went to the construction site across the street. I was zinging it through the mud puddle and looped around to this dirt pile (18 or...
Sledge Sunday
I brought the Junk Bin 6s with me too. The dog and I did the Construction site and doughnuts this morning. Her preference is plain old fashion so that's what we went with. No jumps, but I had a blast getting my trucks up to speed. Lots of puddles and mud.
The Outorious/Junk Bin 6s
I spent the morning learning to time my landings with double back flips. My 3DRC bumper nerf survived all the nose dive I did and I highly recommend them to anyone who owns an Arrma. It ended with a broken rear a-arm, it took a battery and a half to get there so I'm happy.
Where I live the rainy season is 10 months off and on. We all own rain gear and douse our trucks in Pam cooking spray. I can relate though, there are days when I look out the window and just say the hell with it.
You wanted a picture of the Outorious, here it is. It's a stockish EXB Outcast with a Notorious body. Its claim to fame is it's almost entirely constructed from junk bin leavings. Even its M2C chassis plate was from a previous project.
The Sledge V construction site.
At this point I think I've pretty much mastered upside down flat landings and cartwheels. The Sledge is a survivor and I had a spectacular run.
I was told pictures are mandatory so here's my picture.
I didn't think a broken turning link was worth a picture so I didn't take one.
Tomorrow I'll take pictures of the survivors or victims depending on how it goes.
The freshly rebuilt Outorious. Busted a turning link on the first landing. I caught on that if I did long run ups to the jumps I could keep the odd wheel tracking properly. Didn't leave till I hit low voltage.
Tomorrow, Sledge V construction site.
I took the Tekno MT out to the construction site today. I must have done 40 forward flips today and missed only about 4-5 landings. It was a really good day and I had a lot of fun.
