i wholey believe something like 28 days later can happen in reality. some scientist can srew somethiung up and bam it goes wrong and now you got mad ppl running around..

now movie zombies .... absolutley not!

Thats what I was thinking too.... but it looks like they are only available for pre-order at the moment. Not a bad gimmic by Hornady to sell some ammo.
 
Anybody catch The Walking Dead last night?

The end shows how to escape when your being pursued by a horde if there is more than one of you. LOL

The DVR caught it... but I have not seen it yet. I took the kids trick or treating.
 
I love the zombie scenario. In all seriousness, preparing for "zombies" is merely a metaphor for being ready for social breakdown. Doesn't take the dead rising or a virus to turn people into mobs of savages.
 
So how's everyone faring? I assume you all experienced the zombie hordes like I did a few nights ago. I took out 17 of them. They were much shorter then I had expected, and what was with them carrying sacks of candy? Perhaps they are a "smart" zombie like in I am legend and were using it as bait to help offset their meager size.
 
Damn, knew they would be back. I haven't slept in days. My wife has been acting weird around me, says I need to put the bat down and go to bed. I fear she's infected and after seeing what u did to the others is trying to get me off guard. Although it could be the urine and deification that's repelling her, ill continue doing that just as a CYA.

No zombies around here. Just a bunch of brain-dead people taking there 1:1 cars out for a walk.

Last Monday night was a bear... they seemed to be coming out of the wood work. Got a little dicey for a bit... wasn't sure I could hold them off. Then a couple of my neighbors from the adjacent farms showed up to help. Haven't had more than a couple long shots since. Real quiet... almost too quiet......
 
that is one nice thing about being on the forth floor. I blew up the stairs a couple weeks ago to be safe but getting groceries up to the apartment with a rope ladder is a PITA.

I hear ya.... we are getting low on food here as well. Moral is the other issue... I have all the windows boarded up so not much natural light gets in. I have tought my wife to reload so that keeps her pretty busy much of the time. I think I might venture out to get some groceries later today.
