So I'm thinking of making my t-maxx 3.3 stronger. Here are the upgrades/hop ups that I'm planning on doing. Please give me you thoughts on these whether I should skip some of these upgrades, add more or good to go.

Part # Descriptions
4949R Traxxas Center Drive Shaft
5451R Traxxas Outer Drive Shafts (not sure if necessary!)
80462 RPM A-Arms
HS-645MG Hitech HS-645MG High Torque Servo (non digital)
10760 OFNA Heavy Duty Servo Saver

Please keep in mind that I'm trying to keep it on the cheap!

Thanks for your input!

1. Definately go with the RPM A-Arms all around. That's a #1 upgrade

2. Since you're watching your cash don't worry about the drivetrain right now. Just be cautious of how you drive it. wheelies may be cool but they put a lot of strain on your shafts.

3. That servo is pretty much the gold standard. Good choice, back it up with a servo saver.

4. I'm sure that servo saver will be just fine. Many people decide to go with the much more expensive Proline steering kit. I've been running a Kimbrough servo mounted style saver on my T-Maxx. It has kept my $80 Futaba digital servo safe for 4 years.

5. GOOD aluminum bulkheads. Don't buy Integy stuff! Get something tough like Fastlane Machine

6. Aluminum bulkheads require a different type of hingepin. Lunsford titanium hingepins are a must and are well worth the money.

Although these upgrades are certainly not cheap they will make your Maxx 5 times stronger than it was. The servo is more of a peformance product than a toughness hop-up. If you need to trim the list cut this one first.

i twisted my shafts right off the uniball running at the beach. since i put in my MIP center CVD's i havent had a problem. I would suggest getting some 1/2" shrink wrap tubing and making a boot to hold in the pin. This is the most common problem with the CVD's but it cured with this solution
