how the **** do you change spurs gears on the maxx with out removing the tranny ,is there a way or not
i can not see enough room there to remove the spur

lol just remove the engine, I dont own a t-maxx but I think you might need to remove the gas tank also

To change the spur, just remove the fuel tank. That should give you a straight shot at the slipper nut. From there it should go pretty easily. You may want to tip the truck up onto it's nose while you're doing that so the slipper rings don't fall all over the place while you're trying to get it all aligned.

Its easier with the tranny off but its possible i did it in mine i had to take the tank off and the engine but it worked out.

i got it changed now ,took the tranny out ,,just looking for a easier way next time ,
i will try the tank removal,
