Many are going to flame and misunderstand this, but it begain back in the industrial revolution, when industry mistakenly thought the nuclear family (parent, adult, children) was the solution to getting workers to move to the BF Egypt areas where they could mine, develop, and build shanty towns. This broke down the fabric of the extended family.
Sincerely I believe the lack of the extended family in American culture has led to all sorts of moral decay. No role models, nothing to compare against, the human mind wanders where it will and becomes less and less influenced by the true value of right and wrong.
Combined with the welfare program to cover up the errors made by the industrial revolution, a far too liberal populus, and a litigation system akin to the likes of
Brazil, we find ourselves asking this question: why.
Death is too good for someone like this. But I'll tell you what, if we'd become a little harder in our punishment, it would curb a lot of violent crime. To hell with all the surveys that say capital punishment doesn't help. If you know your life is on the line you WILL think twice before doing something stupid.
