RC Driving Style
My GT4 has been sitting for over a year. It started up with just one pull. But if I'm not at 1/4 throttle at idle the engine stalls. I have the first GT4 with the .18 engine and side exhaust. Also this carb only has one needle to adjust. No seperate LSN or HSN. I'm sure its a matter of tunning but where should I begin? Thanks:help:
 
find a way to turn up the idle on the controller or something along those lines....
 
First thing I found out my 1 year old 30% nitro fuel was bad being that old!!! Still having some tunning issues though... I can get the car to idle but when it gets warm the engine stalls easily, then becomes hard to start. Sometimes I have to wait till it totally cools till it will start again. I found a idle adjustment screw. It limits the opening of the throttle when controller is at neutral. Also when I'm on full brake the car will want to die or totally stall out. I'm pretty sure its all a learning experiance at this point on tunning a carb. I hope the engine isnt toast. I havent ran the car in a year till this past weekend and during the time I had it I maybe ran 1 gallon of gas on it. Well I hope I can figure this out with a little help from some of you good folks!!! Thanks!!!
