Yj jeep build

Started getting parts an working on this thing a long time ago my main goal is to have a good looking jeep that is capable an have good parts on it

Scx10 chassis and axles as a base tamiya yj hardbody comp cut

At this time is a runner that still need finishing touches

I plan to update as I buy upgrades for it and as things break

Parts list to come and pictures

Lockedup rc 1.9 beadlocks these wheels are the nicest I've even had

Cut the grill out also made a scale radiator to go behind

Rear inner fenders made also

Skid plates made to help protect the body

How the rear lights will mount

Rear crush corners made locked up scale hardware
Gonna have a dew more when I get them in

Putting a quick paint job on it
Its not prefect but it doesn't matter cuz IMA beat the snot out it anyway

all these little screws sucked but look so awesome

got my radiator put in which looks awesome

after looking at this picture i think my headlight or on the wrong side ill fix that tomorrow

and got it out side for some pictures

still have front inner fenders and lights tomorrow

@rollinlow this jeep is looking great. I love the metal body panels, it really adds to the scale look of the jeep and you can't go wrong with RCNT decals on the window either!

Well guys I took it out for a run yesterday and its a awesome little rig but it needs some tunning to get it right

Yor rig is looking bad a$$, they always need a little tuning and you might think about getting one of these hex driver bits for your wheels http://miponline.com/store/mip9007s.html I got one for my wheels and it makes doing bead locks so much more enjoyable, I use it with one of the small electric screw drivers that go fairly slow and has an adjustable clutch so I don't strip screw heads.

Well the locked up hardware is a scale socket type screw so it takes a little thing to put them on
Added some simple lights and some rock lights in the front fender
