I've been told that the stock 2.5 Tmaxx pipe will work for this motor, but I have the Blue metal Tmaxx pipe as well. Will I be better off buyin the "correct" pipe for this motor, or will one of the pipes I have do the job?

Hey Beavis (butthead voice..hehe).

UUUuhhhhuuuuuuhhh....UUuhhh yeah it will work Dumbass. It's not like your engine is gonna blow up fartknocker. Will you realize the full power potential of your engine? NO NO NO.Uuuuhhhhuuuhhhhh. Damnit Beavis, The problem is that the smaller uuuhhh 2.5 pipe is seriously restricting your .18 engine as it's tuned for a .15 and doesn't have the volume cornhole. You can get the Kick ass Sirio Big Bore pipe on E-bay for $36.00 shipped. That's a good deal compared to many expensive pipes out their buttcheese.

Get the matched pipe for it....there is no sustitution.

butthead voice: Uh-huh huh huh, watch the master Beavis.... [picks rat up by the tail and drops it into the deep fryer]
beavis voice: HEH, you said masterbeavis. [picks nose]

anyhoo, point taken, thanks

I actually started out with the Traxxas blue aluminum pipe on my Sirio .18, and then went with the Sirio big bore pipe.
It performs ok with the Traxxas, but performs awesome with the Sirio. IMO the best power upgrade you can do to that engine.
