Anyone try rigging something up in order to use a yank eliminator for the T-maxx 3.3? I was thinking of drilling a hole 1/2" to 5/8" hole through the bumper and shock tower to get it through to the motor, after sandwiching the shock mount between some thin sheet aluminum and epoxy. The only problem is the shock tower mount on the diff interferes with the yank eliminator. I'm thinking of cutting the yank eliminator down to the length of the bearing and using a flex drive shaft or U-joint type fitting out of McMaster Carr to get it to work. Any thoughts, has it been done already?

Yes. I currently have a pull start, I bought the truck without Ez-sart, previous owner yanked it out, and I do not plan on putting it back in. Although, I may be able to use the gear box as a way to move the input shaft location for the yank eliminator.

they have rotostarts, and tiger drives for these engines already built if you just want to buy something..

Sweet, I'm going to search this, but if you guys have a quick link to it that would be appreciated. Also, any of you using that or are you just using the pull start?

nevermind I found one on ebay. I'm buying the tiger drive with the beveled gears. Pretty cool Idea. I was thinking of doing something like it but could't figure out how to make the casing at home.
