Sounds great! And welcome to the forums too :) ......I suppose it's too late to reccomend you a savage then, isn't it? LOL, :jk: The revo is a great truck, and you'll enjoy it.

Is this your first RC? If not, what other rc's have you owned? (just curious)

Ya i was going to get that one, but i just decided to get the revo. umm i own a on road car its traxxas 4-tec. my friend got the savage its a nice truck i like it to maybe my next truck i'll get that one. or when i get the money there might be something better then the savage. but oh well ya never know. and thanks for the welcome. I've been noticeing that people are actually nice on this forum. lol so I'm glad i can come to this forum and ask questions with out getting stomped on like aww your a noob and all that crap, cause seriously i don't have time for that crap lol well thanks again lataz

I have a gallon threw it so far and its still an animal. I people always said you can't race with this motor because or the massive tourqe but I really think other wise now. I am looking for a jato to race but no such luck yet

LOL yea i kinda want to get into racing now it sounds like alot of fun. i just use mine to mess around with but i just might get in to ti i know its expensive but oh well its all fun and games though

I've got a gallon through my RB 323, too. Mostly bashing, some race practice. I find the insane torque a little much for racing, even with my ARC settigns on my TX set for 20%. I guess I just have too heavy a hand (finger) fro this motor and racing! :radio:

One of my T-Maxx's has the OFNA/Picco Max .26. The RB WAAAAYYYY out does that motor and rig.

man I'm haveing a hard time trying to keep that damn thing runnin it wants to start but it wont stay started i messed with the lean and rich stuff but it isn't wanting to stay start any suggestions?

Have you gone through the 5 step break in process? If not, set the needles all back to the stock break in settings and carefully follow the break in.

As a side note, after I broke mine in I had to get a new plug for it about two tanks after the break in. Ran it for about a gallon more before putting the RB in it. Never had a problem starting the stock motor or keeping it running after break in.

yea its the whole break in process. thats what i was trying to do

i had it running perfect last night and now it wont start

Did you finish the 5 steps? If you did not, set the needles back to the stock break in settings and start the whole thing over.

Once you break it in, I suggest not moving the LSN for awhile. Lean the HSN a bit, watch the temps and if the motor stays lower than about 220 and is sluggish, lean them both about 1/8th turn, make a few passes at 1/2 to WOT. If needed, do it once again until temps are a steady 250 or about there after a couple of WOT passes. Also adjust the idle screw after break in for a smooth idle, not too low, just enough idle not to engage the clutch.

ok thanks a million. i'll just have to find the stock settings for the hsn i haven't messed with anything else but that so. . . and its going to be hard to find the stock settings. but i don't understand how come last night it was running fine i just let it sit for a little to let it break in a little then today i was going to do the 5 steps but i couldn't get it started. so i'll just have to play with it a bit

stock HSN is 4 turns out. enjoy

oh... and welcome to tinker town. have a sip of oil
