how is the stock xxx-nt engine compared to the os cv-r .12.

Does anyone have any general info, hp, how does it hold a tune, temps, etc.

thanks in advance:D

The XXX-NT RTR performance out of the box will exceed the ability of 95% of the drivers out there. At the RC Expo in LA Team Losi was driving The stock RTRs ant the performance was amazing.

As for the OS CV-R .12 it is a good engine and is probably a little better than the stock as far as tuneability and power. If you get a RTR don't be in to big of a hurry to change it out. If you are building a kit the OS would be a fine choice.

as far as tunability the mach 15 engine that comes in the rtr is very easy to tune and it holds a tune well i have one and at approxamately 3/4 of a gallon through the engine i havent had issue one and I've had it running at a steady 218 to 240 degrees it does tend to get hot if you push it really hard (as in full speed sprints across a parking lot) but other than that i like the motor and am quite pleased with the quality and durability:thumbsup:
also as a post script i have it tuned so well that weelies are almost no problem at all of course that is with a good set of rubber and a sticky road or feild
