Yeah well my throttle servo on my truck goes wide open when it is turned on so I think I need a new one I'm not going to be doing any racing but I dont want one that will die real quick so I was wondering if anyone knows of one that would be good for my XXX-nt or some links that I could check out...........thank you in advance

Check to make sure that its not just centering and that you have the servo horn or linkage on wrong.

also check the throttle trim on your radio

It was working fine then all of a sudden it just started doing it and to make sure I unpluged it and plugged the steering one in the throttle spot and that one worked fine so i figured my servo is bad

For a throttle servo you want a high speed servo as opposed to a high torque servo. Hiteck makes real nice servos at a very affordable price. Stay away from cirrus servos, (see FastEddys video). :D

Cool thats one thing I didnt know (if I wanted speed or torque) I appreciate your help

Well if he just got a new xxx-nt it comes with a JR Xr2 Radio which in my opinion is one of the nicest AM radios. It also comes with JR servos. If you really think its the servo Contact JR which is owned by Horizon which owns Losi Which own Dynamite which made nc very happy last week with a new set or Drive shafts. Anyway call them before you buy a new servo they should be able to help you troubleshoot the servo and iff it is messed up I bet they will warranty it out.. X

Dynamites customer service is outstanding! They went above and beyond my expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised! I will continue to use their products on all my RCs. I would definately contact them and politely tell them of the problem. You have nothing to lose. I think JR servos carry a lifetime warranty, I'm not 100% sure though.

the guys are right check your trims ..if not then call there is a 3 year warrenty on the JR stuff now was reading about it other day

I went out and picked up a new servo because I did not want to wait for my other one on the warranty exchange so now I'll have a back up, but everything works great now so the servo was definatly bad

Ill buy your spare, sence yah no when u wer drivin the throtel servo went crazy and i think i need a new one.

He got a Hi-Tec one.

Well if its a mg or has higher tourqe moving the hitec to steering duties...X

It has like the same specs as the stock JR servo that was in there its just a little faster but the same torque
