RC Driving Style
I just got in trade a XXX-NT RTR no engine or radio. I built it up just like my kit XXX-NT. I had upgraded my shocks to the treaded ones so I had the outhers ready to go. I used the latest losi set-up (same as my kit). I drove it yesterday and it drives about 100% better that my kit one. I tryed to hit the jumps off enough to flip it (like my kit will do)and it would just plop back on it wheels. I know which one that I will race tommorrow. WHY is it soooo much easyer to drive ? Everything is the same as the kit one, shocks, pistons, springs, shock location.and camberlinks.
I have one more question which tires work best with RED CLAY ?
Thanks, Rick Harris.

I would suggest LugNuts or Pins for the tires. But as always, try them on the track prior.

Did you do the balane test? you want to find the center of gravity on both. Chances are, that is where the difference is.

What are lug nuts ? Is that a losi rear tire ? I will put them on my scales and see if there is a difference. I did not think about that. I used to run on-road and did a balance check before and after every race day.
Thanks, Rick Harris.

LugNuts are the new ones out by ProLine. I'm waiting for mine to come in. But the engineering and track testing reports coincide with the design. Ill let you know as soon as I get them in. I bought the tougher compound as I do more bashing than track running.
