RC Driving Style
What rear tires have you raced successfully on red clay? Regular loose durt, not hard blue grooved. Also have you used anything to keep the durt for sticking to the tires ?

There are many different tires on the market to use.
We could sit here and tell you to try a number of them but we would only be guessing.

My advice is to got to the track you will be racing at and talk to the other guys and see what they have tried. If they have a pro shop, they will be more then glad to help you out.

A sure thing would be to see what the winners are using.

Good luck this season. You definitely have the proper truck to compete. Remember Speed doesn't win races, Good drivers do...
 
That sounds like a oval track we have by here and step pins work pretty well.
 
I am not a new R/C racer. I have been racin for about 15 years. I won the local spring and summer point series in Nitro Truck. I always am looking to be better and go faster, and thought other racers around the country could have found something that I have not. I did run Losi Step-pins, and they did fine. Just trying to find something New and Better.
