Whats up guys maybe i can find some suggestions, because i'm totally lost. I went to track yesterday with my XXX-NT, CVR-X .15 motor, and pretty much stock setup, and could not get this truck to handle for anything. Wondering if you guys have any ideas as far as tires, slipper clutch adjustment, shocks, or anything to make this truck hook up. It was so bad that if i nailed the gas the thing would just spin in circles. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not big on chassis tuning, but pretty sure those would work...don't hold me to it though!

No suggestions..don't even know what an xxx-nt is...lol

No problem thanks for pointing me in the right direction...

Above is a GREAT link to Adam Drakes personal setup sheets. Take a peek! There is a lot of common ground between them.

Another GREAT piece of reading is by XXX-Main. Its an on-road tuning guide but explains the fundamentals VERY well and can be applied to off-road just the same.

Lastly, check with the guys at that particular track and see what setups they are running. Most setups will be close if they are running at the track a lot. Good racers will generally share in their setups.

Thanks Christian, i will definatley check out the link, as far as the book goes i heard alot about that from other posts, i have ordered from my lhs about a week ago.
Thanks Again

My old AE T2 did the same thing when it had a bearing seize up in the trans, and all the power went to the right rear tire. Watch it to see if both tires roost equally.

I have found that the proper adjustment of the slipper will do wonders on the track.

To get it close, I give it 3/4 throttle from a stand still on the pavement and adjust / loosen the slipper until It goes straight without any torque steer. Once on the track you can adjust it to match the track and you driving style.

These little trucks are so over powered that you will need to either limit the torque at the slipper or at the radio / trigger finger.

Thanks guys, i'm making some adjustments today on the slipper and testing on pavement like Eddy recommend's. Both tires spin equally Scott , thanks for the tip though.
