It seems like a good truck . Seen them XTM line at Hobbypeople being run in the back.

If you have the support in parts, why not. Funny that the Nitro Xcellerator is more costly then the RC10GT.

Its fast IMO. Most ST's are.

jar20635,
I bought one for my kid last year. I won't run it. But it seems like a nice little truck. Told my kid whatever broke he fixed. I'll show him how to fix it or help if he has problems. Figured if I ran it any, I would be working on it too.
He has broke: turnbuckles, a-arm and front brace. (hit a full-sized guardrail we were jumping) Stripped 4 spur gears? 1 he had the mesh too loose, lasted 2 or 3 minutes. Maybe the mesh wrong on the others? Replaced the radio and stripped a few ball ends. Just guessing, I would say he has ran 2 gallons through it.

Tires aren't much. Probably a set of dirt hawgs and good ribbed fronts?
The reveiw claimed the battery box was easy to knock off. Haven't had a problem.
The engine has plenty of power and is easy to tune. Can't say enough good about it. Kid is 18, but it is his first nitro. I have helped very little and it runs great.

You can catch em on sale for $220 sometimes. (RTR) In my opinion, they are a great little beginner/ basher truck right out of the box. Enough tuneability to have fun at the track if they allow the .18 engine. :2cents:
