XTM X-cellerator. Opinions?

Ok I got one of these for me and my boys for x-mas. I figured we'd have some fun tune-ing, fixen and learning the thing together. I have it, I have run it (it's fast). It's a lot of fun to drive as well.

I am thionkign of buying a buggy for myself this month (b-day).

What I am asking is, has anyone had the XTM X-C, and another Stadium truck, can you give me the comparision, the XTM is cheap as all get out, but is it worth it?

I've had my problems with it, but I dont want to share them yet so I can get an un-jaded review I guess.

Being new to the sport I don't know what's supposed to break (usual stuff) and what's poor quality. Can somone fill me in?

What I would really like to hear is the comments from owners who have run the X-C, and other nitro cars so they could compare it for me..at

well i dunno about the xtm brand but my AE RC10GT is a blast, i was bashing today and I whooped a ntc3 (its has no compresion, but it starts) and well i beat it

I have the XTM X-C

I just got the X-Cell and I love it... however I have went through 2 glow plugs already.... But other than that... I really like it.. haven't had anything break just yet... but I haven't really taken it on a track either. What are your biggest complaints.

The upper rear shock bolts are definetaly my biggest complaint, lost one of the bolts(broke), replaced it, and lost the other the next day.

It's where the rear shock mounts to the upper tower, the bolts are just way to thin and light. No way you could survive an good upside down plant wihout breaking those.

Turnbuckles..(my fault) but they are pretty weak in stock form.

Pull start, again maybe my fault on break in (got a new megatech)

And the gas tank. The only plastic nipple on the who;le fuel assembly, and mine snapped off ;(

Aside fromt hat othing too major yet, bu I haven't even gotten any air with it yet ;(

Maybe being new at nitro + cold weather is the culprit.

I really like the X-C but their are a few issues i belive

hey dude, that last post is from my friend and he does have it but hes tooo exited to tell you about it, so i will. i too have the rc10 gt and its a pretty nasty car and andrews car is just as good lemme telle ya and same thing with his the plastic on gas tank broke, and the pull starter chord snapped off of the wheel inside, (i did it) (on accident) (lol) but it bashes and it is a nice car and real powerful engine so have fun with the thing cuz it is good, and i love the threaded shocks so easably tunable and awesome have fun with you're awesome car
