OK, I have stock shocks on the maxx. For what I do I'm going to have to replace caps, and other parts every time I bash this maxx.

I have a .18 in the X-cellerator. Its a kicken ride, but I am thinking $100+ for good shocks, or use these. I'm not sure if they are going to work out so I wanted some opinons. I know I would have to go with a bit heavier springs, and oil. I did some measuring. They match the maxx's travel, extension, and compression almost to a T the only difference is that they extend 1/4-1/2' more than the stock maxx shocks Here's the pic.

Never hurt to try it. When you get the package from me there are some heavier springs in there. You might be able to use them on you venture.

Thanks GB, I'm thinking its going to show tomorrow (monday) or maybe tues. Can't wait to get the build on :D What I am wondering is if only four will do. If it works out, I'm going to take the shocks, and the .18 out of the xtm.

Buying a .18 and new shocks would run me just about the same, if not more than the XTM did new. and I'll end up with nice chassis/roller.
