can the xterminator buggy handle any engine, or are there limitations as to what can go in there. .21 and .25 respectivily

All the big bores I've seen are idenically the same size mounting wise.. so i would say you wouldnt have a prob.. about the only prob i can see is if the motor is a tad deep on the crankcase.. then you would have to grind a little pocket on the chassis where it would sit for clearence. If you plan to race then i would try and stick to a .21 - some tracks dont mind big bores , while others wont let ya race with them. What motor ya looking on getting ?

well first is the decision to make a trade for the Xteminator (which my LHS has parts for) or for a GS Storm with all this in it.

OS Max RG .21 engine (about 1 gallon of gas)
Fioroni Center "Storm Traction" Torsen Diff+ Spur Gear
Fioroni Hardened Chassis
Carbon Fiber Front Stiffener Plate and radio tray (set)
Hardened Front and rear shock tower
Special lower hinge pin blocks (Dynamite and GS)
Rear to center CV driveshaft
Front to center CV driveshaft
Rear CV driveshaft set
Special Hardened steering plate (GS)
Kyosho rims and wing
Ofna 125cc gas tank (stronger)
Dynamite center diff mount
Dynamite Knuckle Arm Set
Rear Torque Rod Holder
Rear Torque Rod
Univ Ft. Center Drive Shaft
Heat Sink Engine Mount
Dynamite aluminum throttle and steering horns
Custom Rear Chassis Brace

right now that xterminator is mostly stock

Try for the storm - those cars stock are good, and with all that even better :D - you'll eventually will want a better motor..

Does your LHS carry gs parts ?

no, no gs parts, thats what is casing the delima, cause everytime i go to ther track with my rc10 i break something, and I would hate to have to order that many parts should the storm break that way as well.

If you get the storm and you do happen to break parts, you LHS can order them, My store here gets them pretty fast! with all that stuff on the storm you mentioned, it would be worth the wait!
I would get the storm, its worth twice the stock car is in parts alone!

Well from what I've seen/heard/read the 1/8 buggies hold up to ALOT more abuse than any of the 1/10 scale trucks/buggies. SO breaking things on a regular basis should NOT be the norm.

Also, the Storm seems to be pretty on par with the Kyosho 7.5 (maybe not the Kanai) but my 7.5 has taken a TON of abuse. Other than the time I slammed WOT into a steel imovable object nothing has broken except for a wing and a bent shock shaft... The wing I crazy glued back together and I wanted to upgrade to better shocks anyway so....
