Unfortunately, I killed my picco 26 motor by running it without the air filter (no idea it popped off after I landed hard on its head). I put on a XTM pro 247 motor last week. I have about 10 tanks ran through it. The motor runs strong but it doesn't have the same low end torque as my picco 26. But what I noticed, on a track, its a beast. The powerband is very smooth.

Just wondering if any of you guys are running this motor as well? Post your throughts/opinions on it...

I've got it in my RS4 2, only ran 2 tanks, which would be equivelent to about one tank in the Savage. So far is strong, top end is nice.

I've got it on my tmaxx but its not the pro edition. it is a strong motor. i dont have many tuning issues neither.

I run the stock 24.7 off my mammoth, its got about 2 gallons through it, but still running strong!

I have about a gallon and a half thrur my XTM X-terminator deluxe (stock 247) and it still runs super strong. I hope the 247 pro that I have in my savage will last just as long. The engine is definitely strong, but not as torquey as my ol' picco 26.

What pipe are you guys runnig with the 24.7? The Jammin JP-1 pipe wakes up the low end on that mill.

What clutch are ya'll running?
I am running the XTM slider and not for sure if is worth a damn or not!

Pipe: HPI ribbed, nice low end but way to loud!

Running whatever stock exhaust system that came stock with the X-terminator pro. Clutch is an OFNA 2 shoe aluminum.

I run either one of the xtm motors with 30%, STOCK PLASTIC PIPE, new pipe on the way, and stock clutch shoes, and at about 245 degrees, this thing wheelies all over the place, i run it like 200 though because for the track i dont want all of the wheelies.

By the way, at about 1 gallon, the xtm motors really start to open up if u didnt already know that. That is when the motor is compltely done breaking in. But this motor will last forever.
