I recently sold my revo 3.3 because my buddy had a 1/8 scale buggy. So I got to talking to my LHS owner and he said one of the good buggies out there is the Xray. So of course I bought it. Do anyone know a good setup for it? I would also know what gearing your running.

I used to own an XB8, great buggy IMO. I ran the stock gearing, and basically the stock set up, which is in the manual and it was a great starting point, I changed minor things from there but not much. Do you have the R or the TQ version?

Xray's website is loaded with setup sheets from both regular joe's and team drivers. Searching it is easy since you can look by track as well. I ran the stock gearing with a Nova P5. It's a great buggy and the quality is second to none, it just didn't fit my driving style well.

I beleive it is just a regular XB8. It is a year or 2 old but was still brand spankin new. He just put it togther and decided to sell it because he was going to a Kyosho.
Thanks

Yea if its that old then its a regular XB8, thats the one I had, a great rig, and is basically the same thing as the new TQ.
