honestly I've not messed with my throttle linkage too much....I've got my tuning down on spot, now i wanna mess with my linkage and such
If you are happy with your tune, why would you modify the linkage? By that, if your engine is straight up race-tuned, then your linkage is good, else you would not have a good tune. Hopefully this makes sense.

The Savage linkage is beautifully simplistic. The down-side to it (as I stated above) is that it is what it is. Whereas a traditional system allows you to fine tune variables such as return speed, brake bias, etc., which will ultimately will give you crisp, smooth acceleration...releasing the throttle will quickly bring the engine back to idle (important in racing so you can cycle through the power-band again)....and then brake bias is a completely different discipline; once again overlooked but a huge difference maker. This is the sole reason I will eventually employ a throttle linkage mod. Right now I'm no where close to having my Savage race-tuned like some of you gurus on here...but I know when I do get there, it's partly because of the linkage. Thus changing it after the fact seems counter-productive. At least in my experience.
