Taking a shot in the dark here. But I'm in need of a motherboard for a DS Lite. I managed to break the switch while trying to recase my daughters. I'd rather try to fix it but I'll probably just go buy a new one unless someone out there has a junk DS that they want to part with cheaply so I can Frankenstein mine back together. LMK....

I have a DS that my son does not use. It works but the touch screen can stop from time to time. LMK

How much you thinking? Oh, and is it a DS Lite, or one of the older regular DS's?

older one man.I was thinking 35-40ish.LMK

My son slammed his first DS Lite and has since replaced it with a new one. It will turn on, but will stop working sometimes. LMK if you want it.

Hmmm..

Jon- I need a newer Lite version so that won't help. Sorry.
Rob- I need the motherboard, but if it's intermittent, it's probably something on the board and that won't help me much, either.

Thanks both of you, though.

Not sure what the problem is. It will just stop responding. If you want it anyway to take a look, let me know. It is currently in the electronics recycling box and I can just as easily send it to you. You never know.

No Prob. Good luck.

Well, if it's just going out the door anyway, sure. Send it along. How much you want? Even if I break down and buy her a new one, I might still keep the other one just in case I can revive it some day. Then I'll have my own!

I don't want anything.

I need to see if I can make my kid give it up though. For some reason he doesn't seem to want to part with it even though he has a brand new one he now uses. As soon as he realized I was sending it away, he took it and put it in his room. He had no problem when it was sitting in the box with the other electronics waiting to be recycled. I don't get kids sometimes.

Funny how that is. They don't have any interest until it's about to disappear. Oh well. If he gives it up, just let me know. If not it's no biggie. Thanks Rob.
