Hey guys.... I'm in need of a faster steering servo than the 645mg for my buggy. its just too slow for me for such a small track as amain indoor. If anyone has a fast, high torque servo that they will sell me for around $60 or less, i would appreciate it. It can be slightly used, just better than a 645mg. Thanks.

WHOA... I've never seen such good servos for that price! I'm gonna get 2! thanks alot!

I'm using one in my rc10gt i had it for about 5 months now and its pretty damn good..

futaba s9450 .10sc/111oz torque at 6v. I'm running one for my throttle/brake on a savge. you can find one used for about $55-60 shipped.

Glad I could help. I would plasti-dip them when you get them, the o-rings are not the "best" in the world, but plastidip will take care of that!!!!!!

Its a liquid rubber product, you dip you parts in and they get coated in rubber. Its runs about $5 for a 7.25 oz. can. You should be able to get it at your local hardware supply store.

o cool... So i dip the whole servo in it? or do i like paint the servo with it.

Yeah you dip the server right in. Make sure to clean any oils off so it adheres better.

so the servos from balsaproducts are good?

I have read of onroad guy using them for quite some time, and a couple guys on here using them. I just picked one up for my Storm and only have a tank on it since I installed it. Seems to work fine. We will see how it holds up over the race season.

Yay they shipped it today! Hopefully i get them by friday so i can put them in then, and practice at the track withthem saturday! I can't wait!

are they any good? this may be a way to save some cash lol

yeah i know! thats what I said... These servos are that good for THAT price! I have to get them!

is plastidip anything like liquid rubber cement... that stuff is great.... ??

I got the servos already and i mounted them right when i got them! ill post pics soon. also pics of my brothers B4 (different thread). Damn these guys ship fast. I ws hoping the 630mg would be a little faster :depress: but it is SO strong... like REAALLY strong. and about as fast as a 645mg. The 620mg is REAALLY fast. I am in love with this servo. I kinda wish i got it for both steering and throttle cuz i was kina looking for speed. But whatever. I'm going to the lhs to pick up a new servo horn cuz the 1 it came with is too short and it makes my full steering not as good. Other than that, I'm good to go! I'm planning on driving tomorrow with my brother so i can't wait!

Cool, let us know how it goes. I should have mine out on Fri. as well if it dries up a little.

Are you guys saying you dip the WHOLE servo in plastidip or just up to the top of it????that should be clarified before someone screws up a servo......
