Hey,

The stock AE .15 is giving me poop and I just don't want to deal with it.

I am looking for an engine that is a direct drop in for a stock NTC3 RTR+. Not set on a price but I don't want to spend too much. I would like a pullstart but I do have a starterbox that I can use.

Thanks.

How about an .18 cv-r? it's never been fired up and if you want it P/S, i've got a spare -RX crank and p/s that i can include.

Does it have the short shaft? I need it to be a direct drop in as I do not have a dremel to cut the shaft to fit in a NTC3.

Nope,

Right now it's got a standard crank, but it you give me a size, I can chop it down to size if you need.

I was told there was supposed to be about 7 threads left on the crank.

Ok, so how much for the engine with the pullstart crank/backplate and all that with the crank cut?

AC, you may need to get a different clutch nut as well. I had to when I dropped an OS .18 into my RC10GT. Check your manual just to be sure.

Yea I am aware of that MW. They are like 4 bucks at tower so I am too worried about it.

I've just made a force .18 engine fit into my NTC3 and i have to say i am bloody proud of doing it, needed a fair bit of modification to fit, but it fits and all works. got a brand new engine for 15 pounds! and hasnt cost me anything to fit it in, as most of the bits i fabricated myself, and used bits from my old engine. I loved the sound of my old associated .12 engine but the other night the conrod snapped, and it was far too expensive to replace, so i put in a brand new engine. havent started the engine yet to run it in, but ill try it tomorrow.
