Sold / Found WTB civic header

I know its a long shot, but here goes.

The header on my civic cracked, I had it welded, and it cracked again. So I'm looking for one cheap. I've decided to run the car until it does, but I can't get a state inspection if there is an exhaust leak.

I know some you guys are into cars so HELP!

Well you can get a new aftermarket header for under 100 bucks now. Unless you want to go to the bone yard that is the best way to go. What year civic?

I prob should have mentioned that....its a 97 lx with the 1.6 sohc non vtech. Most powerful engine honda has ever made! J/K but it works for me.

You can get a cheap one that will last on ebay. Just check the fitments and the pre made mounts for the Oxygen sensor. I know you probably want one for the functionality rather than the performance. Just make sure it is smog legal.

The smog doesn't matter we don't test here. I'm going to need a ring job pretty soon because its burning oil at an alarming rate.

ring job....I don't thing so. I've never been that far into an engine, and without proper supervision I don't think I want to.

Man if you need to do a ring job why keep the ride? Sell it IMO.

A few things....Its paid, I don't have a payment, and I don't want a payment! If I can get away with paying a grand or so to fix it I'm gonna keep it.

MY wife and I just found out that she is pregnant with #2 so I wanna keep bills low.

Got it. I can understand that.All but one car is not paid with me. if youare going to pay 1000 you can get an engine swap.. same one too.

If I were in the city I'd do that, but I'm in the boonies and nobody does them around here. I donno how much a ring job is, I just put that number out there.

Heck, rim jobs on the west side of Cincinnati go for about $20.00 and you get a reach around thrown in for free!

I'm gonna try and make this car last. It has 333,850km on it...approx 207,320 miles and I travel 120 miles a day. This car has been nothing but good to me. I drove it to cali, I drove it back and have been traveling 120 miles a day now for almost 2 years. Its getting old, but I think putting a few bucks into it will be worth it. Instead of a monthly payment I'll put some cash into it and get it to work.
