5000 will be fine thats what i use in mine.
I used 40wt in the stock shocks...But in my ue 4 shock setup i used 30wt with stiff white springs.

zandor ,where did you find 4 springs heavy enough to hold up a savy?
and i use 5k front and rear like zandor says and i use 30wt in all 8 of mine with the purple springs BUT i tried something different in my spring set-ups and installed 4 touring car springs from my RS4-2 on the 4 outside shocks and seems to work really well

I've got 5K front and rear as well, but haven't messed with the stock shock oil or springs yet. Anyone know what weight the factory oil is?

I'm not too worried about the shocks until I put the 4.6 in it and maybe some 40-series wheels, then I'll ask for some recommendations for springs and shock oil...

i use 30 wt all the way around in the shocks..and just grease in the diffs and it works very well

If you ever get time to change out the grease to oil...its well worth the hassle bro....and fun too.

irun 10000wt front and 3000wt rear. the front grips both wheels into/out of corners. running this is nice when it comes to torque over stuff and taking turns full speed into the back yeard.

35wt front shocks and 40 rear. soft enough to bump around and stiff enough to hit the 5 "ft sand pile i had out back about 10ft in the air about 20ft far. begged for more.

if you dont want to loose torque in the front go with 10000wt. eqaul lock up and 3000wt rear makes the rear a little loose compared to front 10000wt to compinsate for the torque that is put on the rear end. all four wheels rippin it up at the same time no matter the turn.

Yea I really like heavy wt oil up in the front diff.. I run at least 50k in front and 20k rear.. but thats just how I like my truck to drive..

35wt oil in the shocks is good for jumping... and IMO its slightly stiff ride for bumpy spots.. but once again thats my oppionion.. also I find that the differences in shock oil velocity is wide.. 30 in one brand feels like 40 in another.. be aware of that...
