Maiden run for the new rig today. Holy smokes this thing is amazing! Super happy with my build, and the components I selected, this thing just works, not disapointed in the least. Not sure what I would change tuning wise since it was working so well, but I am sure there will be something to tweek a little as I get more familiar with it.
The Holmes Hobbies 2N1 Crawlmaster motor is a beast, fantastic slow slow crawl, and huge amount of wheel speed.
Took a buddy with me that has never been crawlin before, he just has a couple bashers. He had an absolute blast driving my Redcat Apex, the I let him drive this new one, and then an Element. I think he might be hooked on crawlin now

For sure, the orange looked amazing on the trail. Funny, I wasn't even thinking about orange at first, but I wanted to use what colors I had on hand, and boomshakalaka!
