would cold weather ruin a engine???

i live in colorado and it is about 40 degrees right now. Would drving my savage ruin the engine.:rolleyes:
 
No, it will not at all ruin an engine. Colder air is denser: If you have 2 of the same amounts of air, and one is colder than the other, it will contain more oxygen. Therefore with the colder outside temperatures you will need to richen your mixture to compensate for more oxygen. If you have a temp gun, now would be an ideal time to use it!
 
When you get into sub-zero temps however, you will want to be wary of the rate at which the engine will cool down after a run. Yes, it is possible to have warpage from cooling toooo fast. If you can, (when running in inclimate conditions), let it cool down inside your semi-warm car :)
 
and it was fun, and it was colder than crap. well it was fun until my diffs screwed me over.
