Finally, I have my new truck. It's a Team Associated SC8!

I originally ordered it from Tower Hobbies but the one I wanted(Pro Comp) was back ordered. While waiting,I decided to see if I could find a better deal(I am a cheap-skate). Well the cards fell in place and I came across this one. It was brand new opened box but never taken out(it was still strapped in) and I was able to pick it up for $425 shipped. Not bad considering the best I could find is $533 + shipping and then Robmob showed me how to get it for $510 shipped at tower. Even with the extra savings I still kinda wondered if I would be disappointed due to the different body but that went away as soon as I opened the box!

Well enough chit-chat - here she is brand new, fresh out of the box! A VERY rare thing for me!

This thing is stinkin' awesome! Lots of nice features including metal gear servos, hard anno shock bodies and anno's alum shock towers. Also I really like the rollcage.

Of course I have a few upgrades to do right away. I've got LiPo rx battery,I'm upgrading to digital servos and installing my Futaba FASST rx. I've also got a custom body design in mind and I need to decide if I want to put my Picco P3-28 in or use the stock engine. Anyway, it may be a while before I get to break it in, but it's HERE!

Heck yeah Randy.....looks sweet! Glad to hear it finally got there. Now it is going to kill ya not getting to break it in yet.

Friggin' sweet!

Congrats on the new rig Randy.

That thing looks awesome! There's nothing like getting a brand new RC and knowing that you're the one responsible for every scratch.

I wonder if that cage would fit on my redcat aftershock? Its a 1:8 short course truck too. Not quite on teh same quality level as an AE product but a great deal. I love mine. I'm sure you will have a blast.
