the diffs and the tranny are prebuilt. does anyone know if they are prebuilt WELL i just want to know if there is anything in there i should loctite or that i could build better myself *thinking of t-maxx shocks*
i assume they are fine. but i would prefer to fix something now than to have to tear it all down later
well since i have had nothing to do all dy i have gotten about 80% done. i got all the major stuff together. the only thing i am a bit confused on is why does the kit have black drive cups for the right side and silver for the left? they are identical and even the wheel nuts are black and silver color cordinated. i would take a pic but my family doesn't think that they need a digi cam newer than the Sony Mavica that take 3.5 floppys that we have currently. ill borrow my friends cam and take a pic but the assembly is really exactly like darthracers so maybe there is no need.
You know I've noticed somehting about that. One side of the Original savage screws one way, the the other side, yet-another way. But I think that could be the reason. Either that, or, some people need color coordinated drive-cups just to make sure.
hmmmmm well now i have everything installed except the radio gear. I'm rolling the truck around on the floor checking everything out and i notice the brake feels really notchy i flip it over and check it out and after just playing with the brake for liek 5 mins it has shaved off a good bit of the disk. little shavings all on the outdrive and such.
well as it turns out the calipers are stamped out of sheet metal and one side is somewhat sharp. well as luck would have it both sharp sides are facing the disk.
