won't stay running, help!!

I finally got my savage running.
But it doesn't stay running, if I let it idle it will stop after a few seconds and if I throttle it or hit the brakes it kills the engine. The carb is set to factory settings and was cleaned out. What can I do, any help would be great!

Sounds like it may be rich. Gettin a lot of smoke and/or unburnt feul out of the exaust?

not any smoke more unburn fuel than anything. I did get it running by opening the throttle gap to 2mm and when I try to start it again after it stops it doesn't want to start.

sounds too rich... for a start youll need to lean the LSN I'm pretty sure... that will help with taking off too

lsn was way too rich in my brand new 4.6 wouldn't stay running at all
