hey guys I'm having a small problem with my tmaxx well at least most of the time I'm on my 4 or 5th tank after break in and after i go wot 3 out of 5 times it will shut off and most of the time wont shift into second gear. right now its about 50-60 degrees farenheit were i live. please help me thanks in advance guys.

try installing a new plug once and see if that cures the problem, and remeber it said in the dvd to tune after that for maximum power then richen the hsn a 1/8th turn

btw: if memory serves me right i asked about cutting a hole in my body right away and i was told not too till it got warmer here in pa,,might not be getting to good running temp if you did that already ,,

It won't shift correctly till it's tuned right. The LSN should be leaned out 1/16 of a turn, then try it again. If you get better take off, you're also getting closer to the right spot. Once it's tuned correctly, it will start to shift. Just to make sure it's not too lean, when it's at running temp, pinch the fuel line close to the carb. It should speed up slightly, then shut off between 3 - 4 seconds. Less than 3, too lean. More than 4 too rich.
When that's set right, go to WOT. Any problems there are corrected with the HSN. Again, 1/16 of a turn at a time. If you notice a slight improvement, do another 16th in the same direction till it runs good.
