Hey i have a 3.3 tmaxx. I have had it for about a month now and it has ran perfect. I drove it last week and it was fine i tried to start it this weekend and i can't get it to start. I messed with it for about 2 hours tried everything and still can't get it. The glow plug is good, its getting gas and air. i am lost please help.

Let's start here: You know what it ISN'T doing. Tell us what it IS doing. Are you still using the Opti-Drive? How about the EZ Start--using it? Batteries charged?

I am using the ez start but i tried using the seperate glow plug igniter also. The engine is turning over but it just wont start. I pulled the breather off to look into the carb and i can see the fuel going in so i know it is getting gas.

Take the air cleaner back off. Turn on your transmitter and receiver. Make sure the throttle trim knob is set to zero or neutral. Check the carb opening. It should be about 1MM wide (about the thickness of a credit-card).

If all is well there: 1) Pull the glow plug and verify it isn't bad. 2) Remove the Opti-Drive from the loop and see if that helps. While I have never heard of an Opti-Drive keeping the rig from starting (it does cause a lot if other problems, however) anything is possible from that POS.

Has the truck been in a big wreck or rollover lately? Been run in the snow or rain? Sorry to ask so many questions and point to so many things, but we need to start to eliminate things one at a time.

Hey thanks for the help i figured it out. In the wiring harness were you plug the ez start in the glow plug wire was loose so when i was trying to start it it would try to start but wouldent keep the glow plug hot for more than about a sec.
