well i was driving my 3.3 today and found out that it wont shift into 2nd.... while i was driving it, it all the sudden died and wont even try to turn over.... i took the glow plug out and the thing that looks like a spring was missing.... hopefully this didnt break off and go into the engine.... what may have happened and is it bad....

do you have the easy start installed still

and you mean that the coil in the plug is gone??

if so means the engine was probably to lean or plug was just old and bad

Remove the head and look inside the cylinder. Clean out any debris left by the filament and spray WD into it while holding it upside down.
Any time you lose a filament you HAVE to remove what's left or it will start to wear on the piston and cylinder wall.
