I've got a Revo 3.3 and I've run about 9 tanks of gas through it. I was running the other day while tuning the carb and it shut off. Tried to restart it and the glow plug light on my starter wouldnt light, so I pulled it and it was shot. Replaced that, got it running and now it wont shift into 2nd gear. It just winds out at high RPMs. Thought it may be the slipper so I tightened it about an 8th of a turn. I restart it and accelerate and it stalls. Now I have trouble starting and moving with it. No idea where to go with this now. Seems like everything that could go wrong is going wrong. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks..

Sounds like your clutch is shot. Remove the motor and pull the clutch bell off you will probably find a broken spring or broken shoes. While you're in there, even if you don't find anything broken, take some sand paper and sand the glaze of of the bell and shoes. Take it apart, and see what you find.

Got it figured out. My slip clutch thing was way loose and not engaging. It shifts now. Also found that my glow plug wire was loose on the glowplug so it kept cutting out. Tightened that up, retuned the engine so she idles nicely and shifts just fine. This was all done after taking out the motor and looking at the clutch first...which was in great shape. Thanks for the help, it was a great starting point for thinking of where to go next!
