Hey everybody!!! I have a T-Maxx 2.5 that I put a 3.3 in.
After the new motor was broken in the truck would barely move. I changed to the forward only kit changed the clutch shoes, spur gear and pins. Will barely move. My hobby shop guy said to make sure the slipper is tightened all the way.
Is this right? Any ideas?? Thanks!!!!

i did the same thing when i changed spur gears in my revo you have to have the slipper clutch alot tighter than you think

traxxas and i think misbehavin say to crank the slipper all the way down and then back the nut off 1/4-1/2 a turn works great for mine.

After you check the spur gear, try and check your disc brake linkage. It maybe too tight and still engaging the brake even after you increase throttle. I found that the 3.3 is way too powerful of an engine for me. I used to have a trx .15 then I upgraded to a 3.3 and wow. You will definitely like the power.

I've have done the same thing and i first had to tighten the spur gear and then brake were to tight, Maybe your flooding the engine, also i would make sure your carb is set right and or its messed up go back to factory settings and go from there
