Hey guys,

I just installed the a new ACNCM cooling head on my Tmaxx and was wondering if I needed to raise my body any to prevent damage to the head and to help reduce the shock on mill during rolls? I have a New Era three point cage installed but I don't know if that will protect enough. Thanks guys.

Tom

I got the same head and proceeded to scratch it all up and break my engine mount on my first rollover. Raising the body will help a ton. You can also put zip ties around the head so that they will take part of the impact.

You should just eueball this one to get the roght height. Not too high or your mounts will break easier. I guess that is better than messing up your head.

Yeah, just go high enough so that when you flip the truck over, the head doesn't touch the ground when you rock it around..

Thanks guys. I haven't raised it yet... I have RPM A arms and lundsford ti pins to put on and I am thinking of buying the RPM bulkhead braces as well. I thought about the RPM shock towers but it only alows for one shock location so I think I will keep looking for bulkheads. Thanks again.

Check out the Fastlane Machine Bulkless setup. i think you can get em on ebay for like $95 for both front and rear.

Thanks man.... is there a website I can go to check out the setup? Thanks
