i wouldnt normally run in winter with my tmaxx but i wrecked my emaxx. we have snow finally and are supposed to be getting more and i want to run it in the snow. what do i need to do protect the engine and truck from the snow?
 
First thing I would do is keep it indoors until the snow melts and dry out then take it out and run the hell out of it. But that's just me.
 
You would have to waterproof your servos (if are not the waterproof kind already), tuck your reciever into a balloon and tie strap the end of the wires to keep that sealed and also wrap your cooing head with tin foil or an old baby sock to keep the temps up to proper operating temp.

^^^^but as stated, this is what I do just to be safe.
 
i have water proof wervos and winter is the best for bashing in my opinion.
 
That's nuts, I rather stay indoors and play with the wife when its cold and snowing out side. ;)
 
snow bashing is awesome i have waterproof servos and just sealed my receiver box then put a baby sock on my head. when i am done i take a blow gun and blow it off when i am done. Has never let me down
 
I pushed myself today, puring rain I bagged the rx and 99% of the wiring into a washed (NEW) condom zip tied on the end and wenty for a bash. Thankfully nothing poofed
 
Okay, so I pushed myself too far on 2.5 standard servos, lol somehow the steering didnt poof but throttle did... So yeah make sure your rx box and throttle box is sealed up tight and have WP servos..
