I sure did hate to see the Olympics come to an end tonight. It was a good 2 week break from all that other crap on TV these days . I have always enjoyed the competion (except for figure skating).

what a let down.... how he is proving that you dont have to win is a poop way to cop out..
he has become infamous...which is what he probly wanted
 
Thank God it's over. Waaaay too long for such bs. Nothing but a bunch of primadonna's and cry babies. Now get on it and put Earl back on!
 
Yeah Bode is a Pos. So is that skater guy I forgot his name (the 1st african american to get a medal in the olypmics..) What a cry baby bitch.

But yeah I was sad to see it go too. I like it because it seems like theres always something on the tube then. Another 2 years till the summer games..
 
I swear Bode was tanked when he ran that last run in the slalom. Even my wife said he was drunk.

And the one skater, did you see how he treated the female sports reporter? What a tool. I hope he makes no money on endorsements when he gets back. Biggest loser I have ever seen in a sport.

I agree the skater guy is a POS. I liked the olympics because during the day and stuff its always the same crap on tv, but not with the olympics on.
 
What night does Earl come on?? i will check it out.

I think Bode was tanked in all his events. (stupid ass)
 
Thursdays at 9, right after survivor (but on a different channel), which follows MXC (on another channel).
 
Agreed! That, coupled with "Kung Pow, enter the fist", and you got a winner of a thursday night.

More mixed feelings than any. I had a hard time keeping up with what events were on when to begin with, and it seemed NBC jumped from one to another a lot. Was it me, or did it seem like they had a commercial every 22 seconds? It got to be annoying. All of that, along with the arrogance of the speed skater and that friggin' ass figure skater (Johhny Weir, I think) just reinforces the "me first" mentality that a lot of the world believes Americans have.

That parts I did like were the snowboarding events, even though I cannot snowboard to save my life! It just looked to me like those kids were having a blast, and even though they had that "skater" slang going, it beat having some prima donna asshat complaining! Not to mention, some of the female boarders are right down cute! I tell ya, that Jacobellis girl is going to go far in life! Hopefully she doesn't end up some brat!

Yeah I saw that.. What a prick. I felt sorry for her, cuz she was just left hanging there and I could tell she was uncomfortable. What a butthead though. I know Nike was "in discussions" with endorsing him, but I hope with his pissy attitude, it ruins them chances. It must have come into effect towards the end cuz he was rooting pretty ard to chad hendricks. Also good thing he dropped out of the team race. Id hate to see that jeroff with another metal.
 
Is MXC that Japanese competition show with the goofy overlay of announcers? If it is we love it over here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife started me on it one night.
 
Revo, yup. Kenny Blankenship and Vic Ramano, not to mention Captain Teneal and Guy LaDouche.

The original show over in Japan was called "Takeshis' Castle". If you do a google on it, there's a site that has all the details on which character is really which.
 
Yep, that's it, Takeshi's Castle. I just watched it last night. Some guy breaking chopsticks in his butt crack.
