Just loaded windows Vista and its pretty cool. I like the multi screen flip that you see in the second picture... its kinda nice using a new OS... since XP has already been out more then 5 years...

Yeah I have it as well. I'm on the beta program with micro$oft. For 15 bucks they keep sending me all the new Vista releases. The first release canidate I didnt like at all. The driver support was horrible and alot of instabilities , but thats what a beta is for I guess. I have the newest one but i havent installed it yet..Been too busy playing Battlefield 2142. And yes there is alot of eye candy in it. The Aeroglass thing is cool and I to love the way the windows can fade into the back ground and disappear until you move the mouse over it again.

So have you expiremented with the putting a usb jump drive(empty) in and it increases the RAM by that muc? I heard you could do this, but vista wasn't running right on my comp so i deleted it all.

Well I am not running a beta version its the actuall Vista Business version that was recently released. So far its stable and running very nice on my laptop. I am also running Microsoft office 2007 which is pretty cool also..... Well I am a geek at heart and this kind of stuff gets me stiff....

Sly How do I know if my laptop and home Pc will handle vista Ultmate???
My brother works for MS in redmond..And can get me it for a very goo price.

what does your laptop have?

When you load vista it rates your system... and will only let you run what your system can handle..... the ratings are 1-5 my laptop got a 3 and it runs all the eye candy.....

If you download this and run it on your system it will let you know how your system will handle vista...

I haven't played with Vista yet, but the system specs this OS needs is just a lil far fetched IMO.

Yea Woodie, I agree with you. I like microsoft, but i think that they have a deal with some computer part manufacturers so that people have to upgrade the hell out of thier computers or just have to buy a new one to operate vista. I think they are trying to bum money off of the non computer geeks and the high tech people out there that have older units that are fine, but just aren't too fast.
