Window Tint

VERY important about window tint - apply VERY light coats and watch carefully - too thick adn it starts to run - it was dark outside and I didnt see how thick it was going on (or rather thin and runny) - I think I just ruined the lid

Been there, Done that.... Sorry to hear bud... You could always just spray the windows black to hide the runs.. Works like a charm...

I don't use a specific "window tint" paint.

Just use black and apply through your airbrush at about 12" very carefully and evenly with quick bursts.....

Save you a few bucks on paint.....

That rattle can window tint is a crap shoot at best. It works best of you warm the can first in some warm water. Then spray very very very light coats and allow each coat a lot of drying time. It can also bleed through several layers of paint if you are not careful, so its best to use a sealer if you are going to use that stuff. I would just do what Candyman said, paint em black and you should never see it.

Back on track. I use light coats of Pactra Racing Finishes transparent smoke for tinting. Put it on light and it looks good.

Oops, my bad sorry to offend you.

I have tried transparent smoke, thinned down and it did look better than the rattle can puke spray, but it still did not give me the look I wanted.
