That is a good winch for a scale rig, I wouldnt use it on anything other than that.

It looks cool. It says right in the description that it's prone to failure if it's pushed. Pretty easy to come to a conclusion about it. It would top off a scale rig nicely for looks and the fact that the cable comes out. I wouldn't try to drag a crawler up a cliff with it.

It actually does pretty well, I ran one on my Blazer scaler and it pulled it up alot of things...But I'm guessing this guy wants one for something other than a scaler. You can always make one out of a servo.

Do you have the instructions on how to do that?

i don't understand why you would want to spend $$$ on something when you can just pick up the truck and move it if stuck .(it does finish the look of a truck though)but seems like a lot of $$ for looks

Realistic? Hmmm.... do they have a griping, screaming girlfriend that warns you "NOT THERE NOT THERE!" or "OMG What are you DOING??" when hitting obstacles? That'd be a fun option. Hahahaha.

:)

I can't say for all servos' but I know on some, they have a little pin on one of the gears that is what makes it stop at like 180*, so you pop that pin out or grind it off and then the servo spins 360 either way.
