I'm looking for some expert advice on this issue.

I want to drop in a Losi 454 into my T-maxx 3.3 (4907) extended chassis. just wondering if anyone knows if this can be done. i already have the picco .26 mounts and the losi fits the mounts. Any help will be greatly appreciated :-)

It will not fit without an aftermarket extended chassis (extended in the rear, not the front like the 4907 chassis) or a UE Monoblock extension.
The 454 is a true BB engine the exhaust header and starter system will not clear the rear shock tower and bulkheads.

+1 for snook,i also have a ue monoblock and it is nice, it is 32mm extended, send me a meaage if u want some more info on it

Yes, you will need at least the exhaust header (a matching pipe will also help), flywheel and clutch/clutch bell assembly to fit the 454 and a longer rear drive shaft.
Although the Ofna mount will fit the engine block it doesn’t necessarily mean the engine clutch bell will align with the spur gear and you may, or may not have to modify/cut the crankshaft to have clearance with the transmission housing.

Ok. so as for trying to install the Losi 454 i have givin up. Seems like way to much time and effort lol. So i just made my life easy and went with .26 Picco MAX JL Red-Dot ENGINE.

Hopefully i have made the right desision. Anyway thanks to all for the advice. Will post on out come of the picco install..

That was a solid decision. I extended mine for handling. Fitting the lrp 466 in was just bonus.
