Scratch the dynamite, 600mah is no where near enough. The Ofna one does not say what the mah rating is so I would avoid that one too. That configuration of cells is what you want though, a 3/2 hump pack. Check with FastEddy, I know he is selling high quality receiver packs, I'm sure he can hook you up with what you need.

I concur with Ed and I had had a pretty good discussion with him personally about his battery packs and damn I like his method better. Come payday the X5 and Savage are getting one!

so what should i look for? i now know 3-2 hump pack...how many Volts and mAH?

4.8 or 6 volts? and is mAH like the amount of charge it has? so the more the better?

Can I use my rc18t battery pack and convert it in to a reciver pack for my savage?

No, the rc18t pack is 7.2vlt ( i think), you can only use 6vlt.

Please be sure of your answers when giving advise.

If your 18T pack is 5 cell it will be fine. If its a 6 cell you run the chance of trashing your electronics. Most RXs are designed to run on 4-6v not 7v. 1.2 v per cell on most RC batterys. Do the math 4-5 cells, 5 is preferred.

yeah i am only gonna run five cells in the 2/3 pattern, just making sure it was ok to use this type of cell.
Didnt see why not just thought i would ask
