I just scored another T Maxx with the 2.5 TRX engine, but it has a pull starter on it. I have an extra electric starter assembly from my old Tmaxx Pro .15 which I would like to use on the new 2.5.

Does anyone know if the old starter will bolt up to the 2.5?

Are there any modifications I will have to do to make it work?

Thanks again.

no, it will not fit on it. they have 2 different back plates which means they will not fit each others pull starts. if u wanted one on ur 2.5 u would have to go and buy it.

a one way bearing at your hobby shop will cost you about $20, and the e-z start about $40. a pull start is about $20. either way, for the 2.5, none of the pro .15 stuff will fit.
